Although Karl Kling may be more widely known for touring with RAC, he is making an even more impressive name for himself. With a repertoire of detailed, deliberate and distinguished tracks, it’s easy to speak highly of this Portland based artist. Under his and Cyclist’s own imprint, MANI/PEDI Records, he has an exclusive for us called “Pure”. As the label name would suggest, this track is perfectly polished and crisp. The murky, acid-laden beat with the muffled vocals make this an interesting adventure. This is the kind of track I’d love to hear in any kind of venue, as the track would transform the place all by itself.
