Hard to believe that almost two years have passed since Fehrplay's career took off with his first release on Pryda Friends. Since that time, the Norwegian-born, London-residing producer has continued a spree of releases on the industry's top imprints, including today's track "Pyara" on mau5trap. It's his debut release on the venerable label, which will see its founder, deadmau5, take the stage at today's iTunes festival launch at 1:30pm PST. Yet again, "Pyara" demonstrates Ferhplay's passion for powerful but understated electronic productions that skirt the line between classic progressive and updated electro, through industrial melodies, patient builds, and energetic undertones. In a world dominated by festival bangers and deep house fanaticism, Fehrplay gives us the perfect balance with his own unique sound.
