With rising stars, like Eekkoo and Nom De Strip, well established players that include Lazy Rich and Hot Mouth, and, of course, the labelhead himself, mau5trap Records has a legacy of well-established sound. Spanning the gamut of electronic production, the players who join the imprint's ranks have continually put out cutting edge releases, a tradition that carries on with Enzo Bennet. Two weeks ago the European artist, who hails from France and studied both there and in the UK, dropped his long-awaited The Colours on Beatport and iTunes, featuring the EP's brooding, yet melodic, namesake track, the more effervescent "Zen", and Beatport's exclusive Eekkoo remix of "Colours".

As with any new release, there's been an accompanying media blitz. However, today's mini mix really hit our summer senses, one last hurrah of beloved tracks that you can't help but put on repeat. It's a true tour de force of past hits, along with a smattering of classic touches that make for a quick trip down memory lane. Mord Fustang's 2011 anthem "We Are Connected" opens the quick mix, followed by the 2010 staple "Illmerica" from Wolfgang Gartner, and then always-favorite Deadmau5 track "Hi Friend", which Enzo then layers over his own work. Enjoy this mini escape exclusively on EARMILK and keep an ear out for more from Enzo Bennet.
