Even though the summer is coming to a close, there is still time to rush out to the beach and savor the remaining days of great weather, great friends, and great fun. Mishka Records the musical imprint from the clothing company, with the same name, understands the situation well and want to help you fully enjoy the last free warm moments left. So, recruiting seventeen producers from around Lake Michigan, they have put together a project to enjoy while soaking up the sun's radiant rays in the sand.

W2NDCH2LL has an impressive tracklisting, these artists have worked with a bevy of up-and-coming rappers from around the country. Nate Fox (executive producer of Chance The Rapper's Acid Rap), Vela Seff (producer for Lucki Eck$, check out "4th Commandment"), Calez (rapper and producer from 2080), Knox Fortune (who has worked with a number of Savemoney members), and many more contribute stellar instrumentals for the tape.

Since each track comes from a new artist, one would assume that the sound would be disjointed and random at times; however, that couldn't be further from the truth. Each musician seems to have understood the message and theme of W2NDCH2LL and taken it to heart. The songs flow seamlessly into one another, continuing the vibe that was laid on the record that precedes it. It is a downtempo excursion on the bank of Lake Michigan, sparing listeners from the booming hustle and bustle of the downtown areas. The key is relaxation and slowing time, not jumping around. This is definitely a tape for the outdoors, but also one that can create the soundtrack for a peace pipe session with the homies.

It's hard to go wrong with instrumentals, especially when they are from a group of talent beatsmiths like the ones Mishka recruits. W2NDCH2LL is an enjoyable experience from start to finish, offering a wide variety of sounds to bump while you are counting down the days until school starts. Give it a listen and then check out each of the featured artists' soundclouds for much more music.
