HYDRABADD premiere trippy title track from upcoming 'Astral Mirage' EP

As the dance music world steadily turns its preferences away from the cookie-cutter, mainstream hordes, artists like HYDRABADD have been emerging in opposition from the underground. Not to say that the more experimental dance music hasn't been around for some time, but it takes a natural amount of evolution in the average listener's mind to catch on to the changing flow of musical trends.

The title track from HYDRABADD's upcoming Astral Mirage EP takes you on a psychedelic ride through multiple genres and atmospheres. Abra's vocals caress the trippy melodic patterns and tactfully constructed percussion. There's even a hint of West-Coast-style lead synthesizers in the mix that punch through at just the appropriate moments.

The Atlanta duo has also detailed what's to come on their fifth release upon unveiling the first single. The EP releases on August 19th and is said to be accompanied by custom merchandise, including limited edition "Gold Bar" flash drives containing their entire discography as well as all-over print shirts of their dense album artworks. The tracklist is also incredibly stacked, with collaborations from fellow Tomahawk Chop Squad producers Ba-kuura, Krimslo, and Emerald Soul, as well as a feature from Slowriter – a multi-faceted musician/vocalist who formerly was a member of Atlanta hardcore band The Chariot.

Stream "Astral Mirage" below and be on the lookout for the full EP release next week.
