Zhu rose to fame this year by bringing some of our favorite Outkast tracks and bringing them to life in a way we've yet to see before. In due time, his EP only proved what the California based is capable of. Sensuality mixed in with perfect vocals, and an emotional touch to an incredibly catchy and unique style of dance-influenced pop music.
With that being said, the few tracks he's released have gotten the remix treatment like it's going out of style. Flipping them into hip hop pieces and churning out dance tracks, but today, we've got a tech house piece that is bound to be playing at your next techno based show.
DJ Modus is a fellow California based artist, and he's got the perfect remix that brings in Zhu's emotional piece and flips it into the perfect dance piece. This is definitely perfect for artists to use in their sets and beautifully crafted.
Gotta say, considering he and I went to the same university (although at totally different times), makes me proud to be a Bruin.
