The wonder kid, Kygo has swept the musical world by storm over the last year, with remixes powered by a majestic sound we all cant get enough of, and fueled by a presence that can't be ignored. It seems as if a softer side of electronic music has begun to enchant the masses, moving away from the grit and putting us all on cloud 9 with those sexy slow jams around 110BPM. Kygo wanted to demonstrate his spectrum of sound with his latest remix and was quoted as saying, "I Was very honored for the Weeknd to reach out and ask me to remix often. This is something a little different from my previous remixes but you can expect more diversity in my productions in the future" Kygo is no stranger on remixing strong male vocals after his perfect execution of Marin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" is one of his best projects to date, this time Kygo decided to come in with almost something of a "Kygo style" hip hop instrumental. He let The Weeknd's vocals do what they do best and seduce the listener, while sprinkling just the right amount of magic into the rework to make the perfect little tune. The Weend made the right call asking for this official remix, as this song is sure to be on repeat, "Often".
