You don't have to look hard to find good dance music from artists hailing from Perth, Australia. Natives Kito & Reija Lee are a great example. I remember back when I first heard their hit single "Sweet Talk" and having an appreciation for its refreshingly melodic sound at the time, and still love that song. Having gained support from DJ and producer Diplo, these talented ladies dropped their debut EP Sweet Talk off Mad Decent back in 2012.

Two years later, after first releasing the track "Starting Line" back in mid March, followed by "WORD$" feat. Zebra Katz, this fierce duo's full latest project II off Payday Records is now available. This EP is seriously chic. So far the songful hit "Starting Line" has gained the most popularity off this 4" EP as an extremely catchy, synthpop track best highlighting Reija's captivating vocal abilities.

When I first listened to "WORD$" which features Brooklyn rapper Zebra Katz, I was hooked.  Zebra Katz on this track offers a fun little Hip-Hop twist to this EP as it unfolds itself with relatable lyrics yet still keeping its electronic/dance beat. This dance worthy song is one I want to bump while I'm riding around with my girls on the way to a fun night out.

"Turn Into You" shows off more of their future side with a bit of a chillwave component to it. It features a unique synth that upon first listening to, pictured myself floating in the ocean with that sound in the background. Extra kudos to any good track that offers it's own unique tropical vibes. "Under My Skin" is more of a chilled out track with an uplifting spirit and catchy bass-line. With a beautiful buildup, Reija's entrancing voice kicks in with the rest of the track progressing toward its elegant simplicity. Check these two latest tracks off II below.
