Tapioca & The Flea— and who said that band names are unoriginal these days– may have an off-the-wall title, but they certainly aren't a group to glaze over. I first came across the LA group when Com Truise decided to remix their anthemic summer jam "Take It Slow;" ever since then, they've been the ones to watch this summer. With a slick combination of thumping bass lines and sinister guitar tones to their take on Olivver's "Attica '71" (which you can check out here if you haven't heard it already) they craft a cool blend of atmospheric elements, a departure from the stripped down and subtle nature of the original.
