Considering the heatwave that has taken over my sunny city of Glitz and glamour known as Los Angeles over the past week, it's easy to say that music that can bring about some relaxation to go with the pains of sweaty weather is more than welcomed around these parts.
Enter SOJA, who's bringing a tropical-influenced easy-listening jam that could easily be playing at a cool beer garden with great lighting and fantastic people. He's got a track out titled "Easier," and with the song playing in the background life certainly emulates art and brings about a simplicity that is easy to ingest.
The lead singer himself also sent out a quote for us-
"Easier is about how life is just for living and that happiness can be easily found, if we relax, look around, take a deep breath, see how beautiful everything is, realize that everything is alive and that we are all responsible for each other. The earth, the humans, the plants, the animals, were all one thing. The water, the wind, the dirt, the trees, were all there together. And it would be a lot easier if we didn't have to try to be something were not and if we didn't have to lie and say that were something were not. And I thought, who would understand that? Hawaiians. So I asked my friends J Boog and Anuhea to help rock the track."
With feelings like that, it's easy to say that SOJA is going to be our jam for a hot minute.
