My introduction to Fred Falke happened back in 2008, when I was first played his remix of The Whitest Boy Alive's "Golden Cage" by a friend. Instantly hooked on the French disco house producer, I had the track on repeat for the next several weeks. Countless originals and remixes later, I'm still a major fan of Falke's, and his May 2013 set at Toronto's Wrongbar was one of the best I've ever heard.
Just as outstanding as Falke's previous work is his latest release, "FM LAETI – Wanna Dance (Fred Falke Remix)", available now via Pigalle Production under exclusive license of Un Plan Simple, a division of Sony Music Entertainment France. The synth-heavy rework of Paris-based pop singer FM LAETI's original is incredibly infectious, and not to be missed if you're a fan of the French touch aesthetic.
