Every now and then, when the stars align just right, we find a brand new act that we would feel it'd be a sin to not share with the world. Meet Gosh Pith, a unique songwriting duo from Detroit coming onto the scene with their first project, "Waves." The record's surreal vocals dig into your subconscious while riding the wave of a distinctive production blend of trap and indie pop. Gosh Pith's single employs a tasteful sample of Usher's "You Got It Bad" and an unconventional vibe that feels authentic and sincere; all rounded out by lyrics that confront the sheer absurdity of the human condition head on.

Check out their debut below, and be sure to follow Gosh Pith on their social media pages to keep an eye on this budding talent. The Detroit duo, who categorize their sound as "cosmic-trap," provide their reflective thoughts on their first project:

"Sometimes it's hard to step aside from things, to move out of the way, and let life and visions happen. Sometimes it's tough to fit into time, and fit into a crowd or class and seem normal. I wrote these songs because of struggling and the release I felt from collaboration and connection with people, and they helped me sleep some nights. We have found it a good form of medicine, making conversation, reflecting and exploring; all fighting to get free from everyday external gunk. We are from Detroit, we read so much about our city, and we want to reciprocate and show the world that feeling trapped or liberated are universal feelings no matter how fast a city changes around you."
