Egokind returns with 'Nothingness' EP

Last we heard from German producer Egokind was with his mesmerizing remix of Umami's "Sunny." But this week the Berliner is able to celebrate his country's win of The World Cup as well as the release of his latest EP entitled Nothingness. A three track trek into the unconventional, his background in indie rock breathes through the verses in techno, tech house and electronica track by track. The title track "Nothingness" acts as the jumping off point of this EP, being successful in Egokind's live sets and the anchor for the EP's interest by Traum, the label distributing it. Magical, relaxed, futuristic and playful, "Nothingness" is entrancing in the dancing synths that play throughout it. "Fatigue" and "One Love" play up those qualities as well, where Egokind is also joined by his longtime friend Ozean on production, and the music moves a bit away from dance and into the experimental. Check out all three tracks below in their release in anticipation of a long form album due out this fall.
