I first discovered Boeboe through The Dutch compilation released on HW&W Recordings, and immediately moved him to the top of my radar. If you haven’t heard of him yet, let me do you the favor of acquainting you, because Boeboe’s sub-heavy, 808 bumpin, trappin music is basically the apotheosis of future bass. Brace yourself, his beats are surprising and hit you hard, but in all the right ways. Boeboe has received DJ support by Diplo on BBC1 and Plastician on Rinse FM, as well as support from labels like Saturate Records in Germany and Bad Manor in Amsterdam. Recently, he has merged with fellow Dutch producers, Guerilla Speakerz, GANZ, Subp Yao and BeauDamian and created their own label and collective, Doggtown Records.
