ASTR gives Charli XCX a little extra "Boom Clap"

The lovely UK's pop princess, Charli XCX has just received the remix treatment on her "Boom Clap" track from the New York City duo, ASTR. The duo have successfully remixed the likes of Neon Trees, Broods, among others, and they can now add Charli XCX to that growing list.

At first play, I was a little shocked at the intensity and all that the remix had going on. That was until I grasped the massive-ness that ASTR had created. I had to go back a couple times through the song before I caught on though. But you might notice a couple areas where the beat from Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" is subtly blended into the background. But considering Charli XCX is featured on that very song, I don't think it is any coincidence.

The thoughtful creation of this remix, resembles a petri dish experiment with some of Charli XCX's current hits and some trap stylings. Logically, none of these things belong together, but the results say otherwise. Somehow, ASTR managed to bat this remix right out of the park. The intensity will consume you and each additional play only makes the song grow on you even more. Check out the track below and show them some love!
