If you've read any of our Experimental posts over the past year, you probably realize how serious we are about newfound sounds and non-formulaic music. With all the tunes we push here, it's nearly impossible to use the words "weird", "strange", and "unique" without having to go into much grittier detail. Instead, allow us to let Bot & Wafa's new EP do some of the talking. You can stream the whole thing below, and grab the download here, available free for one month.
The Bring The Syndrum EP features two originals, as well as remixes from Ratcliffe (of Basement Jaxx), Canblaster, Modek, Doctor Jeep, and Whitesquare. Though, to be honest, the originals remain our favorites on the album, with "MSMFN" at the forefront. The grainy driving synth brings such a diverse saturated flavor that it can really only be compared with the Ned Kelly edit of "Same Damn Sound". Altogether, the EP proves once again that the Main Course label is fighting at the frontline of the music industry battlefield with their game-changing sounds and non-stop release schedule.
