G-Unit have reminded us why they were at one point rap’s hardest collective since their recent return, and by jumping on YG’s “Who Do You Love” they might just make some new fans. This writer never needs an excuse to dust off that Beg For Mercy CD, but The Unit have undoubtedly released some straight up great tracks since reuniting at Hot 97 Summer Jam months ago. “Nah I’m Talking ‘Bout” came first with newest member Kidd Kidd joining the original line-up of 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck for the ravenous flip of Hit Boy and HS87’s “Grindin My Whole Life”. This time YG’s big tune, which originally featured Drake, gets a black bandana revamp.

DJ Mustard’s beat acts as the perfect platform for each member of Fiddy’s reunited clique to showcase their individual lyrical talent. 50 gets the track off to a solid start with his evergreen, effortless flow before Banks supports his reputation as one of hip hop’s more underrated lyricists. Meanwhile Kidd Kidd continues to earn his Unit stripes with another impressive outing. All in all “Who Do You Love” is an energetic effort over a slick beat from a group of sleeping giants who are looking ahead at a now highly anticipated new mixtape. Celebrate your independence and G-Unit’s latest coming together by checking out the track below.
