For the Italian producer My Dry Wet Mess, music runs in his blood. With an impressive resume that begins with his father's career in the music world, it's no wonder that he's become an artist with releases under Daedelus's Magical Properties and Flying Lotus's Brainfeeder.
This time around, he's releasing his Laptop Lapdance EP via Fine Grains on July 7th, and to prepare for the exciting new EP, we've been given the chance to premiere one of his tracks, "Eyelids' Secrets."
The song is similarly rooted in a bed of hip hop, although to the same extent the beat scene and the likes of FlyLo are influenced by it; MDWM definitely takes liberties, playing with the synth over a steady beat to create something obscure and strange and fantastic, all while displaying a startling simplicity.
