Yet even this branding term does not restrict the LA duo, who constantly keep the internet raving with originals and remixes alike. I first came across Bad Vision with their aggressive remix of "Wake Me Up" by Avicii. Since then, they've continually impressed me by never slowing their momentum to deliver new and exhilarating work.
Bad Vision's latest treat slows down their intensity ever so slightly, as a remix of Coldplay's single, "Midnight". From the very start, you're met with a drum pattern over top the gentle melody that teases you before stripping away all signs of Bad Vision. Instead, Chris Martin's voice meets you with nostalgia until the remix builds up in a progressive structure. The main breakdown comes completely unexpected, as it turns the ever so soft original into a bouncing tune fit for any occasion.
