Soul-fok singer Moses Sumney has become a notable figure in the indie music scene this past year due his masterful DIY live performances and for a highly acclaimed genre-bending debut EP, Mid-City Island.
Sumney has now released a handcrafted music video for his "Man on the Moon" single off of the EP. Directed by Christian Robinson, the visual features an animated stop motion depiction of our cosmos made of nothing but arts and crafts supplies (buttons, sequins, paint, paper ect.), and manages to perfectly encapsulate the ethereal and gloomy nature of the song. Moses' sublime vocal and acoustic talent echoes throughout this creation, even though he doesn't officially make an appearance.
