There is a new fierce force to be reckoned with in the Jersey Club scene and that force is the Jersey Queen UNiiQU3. UNiiQU3 is a part of DJ Sliink and Nadus’ brick bandits and rightfully so. In just a short time she is already receiving great praise from Fader and Stereogum with her debut The New Klassiks mixtape, which is a 20 song mix of Jersey, Baltimore, and Philly club. It wasn’t until last week that she played her first international show and now she is already set to play alongside Cashmere Cat this summer in NYC at the MoMaPS1 party on July 26th. Not wasting anytime, UNiiQU3 has wiggled out of the woodwork an up-tempo jersey club remix of “2 ON” by Tinishe.” UNiiQU3 keeps the hyper-active style of Jersey club intact in the remix while adding her own melodic and airy twist to the genre.
