La Roux is back and ready to make you dance once again. After an extended hiatus, La Roux is turning it up with their latest single titled "Uptight Downtown." If you are into late 70's or early 80's dance music, then "Uptight Downtown" is for you. "Upright Downtown" reminds me a bit of an updated version of Cyndi Lauper's classic "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." I can imagine this song getting tons of radio play this summer.
Ben Langmaid is no longer a member of La Roux, leaving Elly Jackson to hold down the fort. It should be interesting to see how different La Roux's sound will be without the production skills of Langmaid. La Roux's new album, Trouble In Paradise, is due to hit stores July 7.
