Fresh from the grind comes a new San Francisco based producer called Bedtimes (Conor Grebel). As his artist name might suggest, the style of his dives into the ambient and experimental spectrum. You won't find his work dominating the lively club scene, but instead Bedtimes' songs will easily find their way into your eyes as you relax in a dimly lit room.
Bedtimes has only one EP called It's A Trick, which launched not too long ago. The four song EP shows a diverse set of sounds all with a unifying mood that makes the EP quite cohesive. The opener, "It's A Trick", brings you into the world of Bedtimes with warm open arms. The rest of the EP is a tad harder to swallow, though you are quickly overcome by it's likeable nature. After the initial light synths and a midtempo beats in "It's A Trick", you'll stumble through ambient atmosphere, droning, and organic compositions that all come together to form unique songs.
