It's fun when collectives will host super EP's, collaborating with some of their favorite artists to releasing projects for the masses to consume- and consume well. Often times we're introduced to artists, or we hear from familiar ones, but each time we see common threads of music stringing together for one united style.
Today CrackBeetz Records does just that by sewing together what they call Just Beetz Volume 1. We first hear from Chooky in his mega anthem "Midnight" which showcases the concept of style the tape is trying to achieve. Then we cool down a bit with Rvdical the Kid's mystical trap original "Don't You Wanna" for a mellow break time. And just before you can't believe the sounds you hear, Tek.Lun gives us a progressive edit of Clara Hill's "No Use" that gives us no reason to follow reality.
Take a listen to Just Beetz Vol. 1 now, and stay tuned for more hip hop influences in dance music. And when i say this, I don't mean twerking.
