Vocalist Muhsinah, who's worked with the likes of rapper Common and even been nominated for a Grammy, has teamed up with the eclectic Yoggyone for a new track titled, "Any Ideas." The song is a bizarre mixture of influences, kicking off with stunning singing that is placed over an equally stunning backdrop that is Yoggyone's production.
"Any Ideas" resembles the works of James Blake, although with the powerful vocals of a female that adds a dynamic that strays from being directly Blake's style. This song is a weird experimental piece that blends the ever-changing lines of electronic production and soulful R&B style singing. All in all, it's a fantastic kick-off to the cloudy morning I have here. Put this one on blast for the world to hear this AM. Both Yoggyone and Muhsinah are rising quickly and are definitely ones to keep an eye out for.
