King Avriel has had, more or less, a reclusive reputation until recently. Although a familiar among industry insiders through her songwriting and features, the obscure R&B songstress can hardly attest to being seen in any "scene". This, among other things, seems to be a recurring theme in her music and is definitely present in her latest release "Judgement Day//Valley Idols". This is the third single to be released for her forthcoming debut, Thesis, an album that, so far, sounds like it shaping up to be one hell of a social commentary.
Storytelling is a fundamental component to songwriting almost as rare as the Golden Tabby Tiger in today's Pop landscape. Avriel has mastered this art and is able to set the scene for a reassuring, but sad tale about life, love, sacrifice and death.
