What more needs to be said about DMV emcee GoldLink and Montreal's hottest producer Kaytranada? I could go on and on about how great these two acts are on their own, but that's not gonna change anything. GoldLink spares no details regarding the turbulent relationship with his lady and he even manages to throw in some funny bars regarding his mysterious persona ("Been thinkin bout gettin this tatt all on my face, who gives a fuck nobody get to me see anyway,") while Kay crafts another beat that begs to be rapped over. What I dig about this joint in particular is the way that they've able to come together; you get the sense that this beat wasn't shopped around for other guys to take advantage of. This spacey, head nodding beat is optimal grounds for GL to do his thing and the chorus is one that you'll be shouting out all summer. Give it a listen down below and enjoy.
