DJ and producer extraordinaire Laidback Luke continues to have a prolific 2014, having already completed multiple singles and remixes. LBL now brings his deft touch to Jenaux's gorgeous, synth-laden progressive house track "Turn the World Around." As an edit (and not a remix), LBL does very little to change the original song from a production aspect, but what he does do is quite noticeable. Namely, he trims much of the fat, shortening the original mix by a few minutes, while still retaining Jared Lee's wonderful, evocative vocals. He also adds in an extra syncopated kick on the hook/anthem portion, giving the song a little more edge (and more energy), and of course he throws in many of his signature DJ effects, just for good measure. What remains is a distilled, crisp version of the song that retains all the melodic fun and euphoria of the original.
