El Da Sensei is still a "Show Stoppa"

To paraphrase Steven Pressfield, "The professional sometimes has to throw down a 360 tomahawk jam from time to time, just to let the boys know he’s still in business." Such is the case with El Da Sensei and the bouncy, head snapping "Show Stoppa." As a member of The Artifacts, El's earned his stripes in the early 90's by bringing Hip Hop to the forefront with tracks like "Wrong Side of Da Tracks" and "C'mon Wit da Git Down." Two decades later, the New Jersey native is still bringing the pain with his onslaught of quick witted bars and razor sharp delivery. This DJ Devestate instrumental begs for a high caliber emcee to drop a hot 16 and El does not disappoint whatsoever. It's a boom bap fiend's dream come true and it'll be stuck in your head after a single listen. Check it out below and make sure you preorder the upcoming Coalmine Records compilation Unearthed, which will feature joints from emcees such as Pharoahe Monch, Blu, and Royce Da 5'9, and will surface on May 13th for your listening pleasure.
