DJ Cassidy’s “Calling All Hearts” undergoes the Sammy Bananas treatment [Premiere]

With a flare for fashion and fame, the unforgettable DJ Cassidy has begun his transformation from spinning at some of the highest-profile parties to producing his own music. Paradise Royale, his forthcoming debut album off Colombia Records, marks the artist's first foray into this side of the business, backed by a superstar lineup of contemporary and classic musicians. The roster includes none other than Cee Lo Green, Chromeo, Passion Pit, Earth Wind & Fire, Nile Rodgers, and many more acclaimed acts.

Back in February the first single from the album dropped, a vocally-centered, brassy affair with Robin Thicke and Jessie J kown as "Calling All Hearts". Today we have the first listen to Sammy Banana's remix, which puts a decidedly funky spin on the track. The New York native and Fool's Gold staple clears away parts of the original's instrumental, letting the twangy guitar shine through along with the star-studded vocals that bring the production up to another level.
