Bringing Nicolas Jaar and Jamie xx's unique musical talents together seems like the type of thing you only dream about. While it may not be the original song from the two that you were hoping for, Jamie's most recent residency with BBC Radio 1 featured a mash-up of sorts of that should at least hold you over (catch the whole show here).
Surprisingly maintaining a coherent vibe throughout, Nicolas Jaar's edit of Missy 'Misdemeanor' Elliott's "Work It" was mixed with Jamie's trending original song "Girl" to form a substantial groove. Who would have thought that the two songs would work together so well?
