After getting such a great response to his remix of Beyonce’s “Heaven”, Vancington has taken Tourist’s highly popular track “I Can’t Keep Up” to a whole new level. Will Heard’s soulful vocals are an emotional attribute that he has accentuated rather than undermined. He said he wanted to make a version of this song that could be played out on the dance floor, and while it’s undoubtedly danceable, it’s also a perfect tune for casual listening which is a unique skill that is evident in all his tracks.
This remix proves his short hiatus was worth the wait. Between the progressive melody and vocal chops, the whole remix is absolutely a treat to listen to. Be sure to keep up (no pun intended) with this talented Louisville based artist as this is simply foreshadowing for what’s yet to come!
