One Bit go one step further by remixing Spring Offensive's "Bodylifting" [Premiere]

Spring Offensive, a 5-man indie rock band from the UK, released their debut album earlier this year, an 11-track foray into angsty anthems known as Young Animals. Standout tracks include "Something Unkind", "The River" and the release's forthcoming single, "Bodylifting". Out May 12th off Spring Offensive/KARTEL, the song definitely slips towards the melancholy, especially with lyrics like, "You're the best part of me, and when the best part of me goes… I'm a party killer, in the corner throwing stones." Taking this base and bringing it up a few notches, One Bit spins the original into a danceable track with minimal electro touches. Keeping much of the vocals intact, the slightly mysterious production duo leave Spring Offensive's essence in the rework, never taking the track too high (though two vibrant climbs make an appearance) and driving on with a steady, lowkey vibe. It's the perfect example of a true remix, so keep an ear out for more from One Bit, as well as Spring Offensive's May 12th single, "Bodylifting".
