Odd Future's Domo Genesis & Left Brain link up for their "Arrival"

It’s been a while since we heard from the Odd Future camp and even with the release of new music from Domo Genesis it’s a bittersweet moment. “Arrival” only runs for 2 minutes and teases the LA collective’s biggest fans who are patiently waiting for fresh projects to surface from rap’s most eccentric group. You’d be a fool to focus on the negatives though, as this Left Brain produced mini masterpiece which comes with the caption “Happy 4/20” is a soulful effort and sounds unlike any commercial release we’ve previously heard from the 23 year old. There’s a real old school flavour to Left Brain’s chillingly brilliant beat with subtle drums ticking over a retro sample and a contagious melody. Meanwhile Domo’s flow intensifies and he treats us to some tongue twisting lyricism.

“How melodic is the physical embodiment? My soul obvious, stay atop the column and body s***. Fearing nothing, concern is moderate, school of hard knocks and this b**** on full scholarship. F*** it, feel free to hate on me, I just told the f****** world to hold up, wait on me. Understand that it's the same old G. Blaze more tree, burning up such a fire and remain low key”

Give the short but sweet “Arrival” of a new edge to Domo and Left’s work a listen below and keep it locked with EARMILK for Odd Future updates.
