Lately, it seems like collaborations have become the lifeblood of electronic music. A quick look at the charts reveals a ton of hits that have two or more big names associated with them. And while its not always a palatable experience, usually when distinctive styles merge, they create something authentic and unheard of. Take David Guetta & Showtek combining forces to create "Bad", a hit that is currently sitting at #4 on the Beatport charts. This original track starts off easy on the ears with just R&B singer Vassy’s vocals budding. Yet, it quickly kicks it into overdrive with a big bold bounce that sets a uniquely aggressive progressive tone. It is no surprise that this collab is hitting the right notes for ravers.

And with such a prominent hit, comes the outpouring of remixes which often open our eyes to new talents and styles. 20-year-old producer Klaud certainly shows us his promise with his take on “Bad”. The Miami based artist does an impressive rework, leaving the vocals in tact but replacing the fierce synths with a more melodic backing. His version changes the whole vibe from a raging rave to uplifting dance fun. So, take your pick and enjoy you’re weekend.
