Temperatures are rising and moods are elevating. As the weather gets nicer the productions migrate from their sad boy styles to a more airy, vibrant, and euphoric stylings. One tune that has us pining for sunshine and iced coffee is “Dreams Of Love” from Denver native Late Night Radio featuring The Geek and VRV. This song is a vivacious and elevated glitch x trip-hop infusion. Coming in at a soulful 90 bpms, “Dreams Of Love” takes the melodic groove of trip-hop and spices it up with some notable glitch sounds. I’m not sure if there is something in the kool-aid up there in Denver or maybe it has something to do with the recent changes in legislation but Late Night Radio’s Denver residency is resilient in his sound and proves that Colorado is truly the sunshine state. Late Night Radio describes this track as “Laidback soulful hip hop,” and laidback soulful hip-hop its! Snag a free download of this soulful summer tune, sip your iced caramel macchiato and enjoy your weekend. LNR is hot on the heels on a US tour with Glitch God’s Griz and Michael Menert, so if you are picking up what he’s putting down be sure to check him out when he is in your town.
