Yellerkin have a special offering for EARMILK readers today. The Katonah, NY-based duo consisting of Adrian Galvin and Luca Buccellati have just returned home from playing SXSW and have decided to release a music video of sorts for a new single titled "Dixie Rain". Hailing from their newest batch of unreleased music, the track nods to the sonic style originally heard on their debut EP titled Yellerkin, which was released back on February 4 of this year.
The video is simplistic, almost as if the viewer is witnessing a basement jam session. The lighting proves minimal, highlighting the shimmering backdrop and emphasizing the raw performance of the never been heard before tune. If this isn't a tease for what to expect from Yellerkin in the near future, I don't know what is.
