“After creating the music for “Filthy Lover”, we thought a Chanty/Cheerleader kind of vocal would work nice, like in that 80′s track that goes “Hey Mickey your so fine you blow my mind.” To flush the idea out we tried recording our own vocals and pitching them way up, which ended up sounding like a mix between a little kid and a Transvestite. We thought this worked nicely in a weird way, so that we left them in!”
