Kygo is a quick-rising producer from Norway. In less than a year, he has amassed a colossal following, racking up a staggering couple hundred thousand fans. But that's not even the impressive part. What really puts Kygo in a unique position is that all of his releases are remixes. Go ahead, check out his SoundCloud. He's remixed a wide variety of artists, ranging from James Blake to Marvin Gaye.
His remix style is quite distinctive. Once you hear those atmospheric synths kick in, you will automatically know it's Kygo. If you haven't heard of him or know what I'm talking about, you'll know soon enough with his latest remix of "Wait", originally composed by M83. The original song itself is a slow, ambient lullaby that will put you under a clear, night sky. Kygo gave it his own little spice to spring a little more life into the track. The tempo is slightly quickened with added effects coupled with his signature synths. Kygo's remix of "Wait" is by no means a heavy head-banger, but if you have been following him for some time, you'll know it's just not his style.
