It's a name that has caused a rumble in the electronic industry, a collaboration between two mega-producers that has caught the attention of legends like Kaskade. Galantis, a duo comprised of Linus Eklow (Style of Eye) and Christian Karlsson (of Miike Snow), have been slowly teasing their debut, self-titled EP, dropping track after track on SoundCloud over the last few months. The first single, "Smile", came out at the end of 2013, followed by a slew of remixes from the aforementioned Ryan Raddon, Marco V, Bart B More, and others. Now the whole release has appeared on Beatport, a glorious, 6-track proclamation of danceable genius. Crafting a style all their own, Galantis plays at the edges of big room and electronic with shimmering progressive melodies and captivating vocal interludes. I included my favorites below – the rollicking, beat-driven "The Heart That I'm Hearing" and the infectious, emotive anthem of "Help" – but every track has something special to offer.

Also exciting is the promise of an experimental live show, an event that will feature their Seafox spirit animal which adorns Galantis' cover art. If you can catch them live, it promises to be an unforgettable performance.
