It’s April 1st, aka – the worst fucking day in the world. Blogs, companies, and colleagues champ at the bit to have the funniest, wittiest, catch all marketing ploy. It reeks of desperation and bullshit and the only fools are those participating. Earlier Cyber-Hacktivists Anonymous “hacked” Internet troll and producer Deadmau5’s Facebook and sadly this won’t be the last “April Fools” prank, sigh.

On a day saturated with jokes and pranks, LA based producers Dr. Fresch and Goshfather & Jinco have put all joking aside and teamed up with the charity Walu International to release their latest collaboration; a remix of the 90’s pop-hit from The Cardigans, “Lovefool”. The trio takes this iconic pop hit, slows it down and traps it out without being to overbearing or bleek.

In Papua New Guinea one in six children die due to unsanitary living conditions. Walu International's mission is to educate the population on ways that they can improve their sanitation, their health and their life expectancy. No parent should ever have to bury his or her child and no human should have be fearful of the quality of a vital necessity like water. So on a day of pranks and poorly timed jokes,  take a stand to bullshit and invest your time in something worth while. You can cop a free download of the track by liking Walu Internationals Facebook page here. Say you did something good today.
