There's something to be said for the joy music can provide and how music has a way of connecting so many people. It is truly impressive to find artists who believe wholeheartedly in that joyful connection, that music is not made for profit or fame but for the kinship felt between creators and listeners. Take Namaste for instance, a duo originally hailing from England, who has made it their mission to share their blissful sounds for the sake of the listener.
Namaste, which is a Hindu greeting meaning "may our minds meet", is a perfectly fitting name for the two people who fatefully crossed paths and brought their abilities together, based on simple similarities, to form a production team. Their minds are now meeting in Australia to capture some beautiful, sunny electronic sounds for their new track “Signs”. The fast paced, big-room track has great energy, similar to Rudimental’s “Waiting All Night”. Using gorgeous, soulful vocals from Tiana Khasi, Namaste creates a nice contrast to the wild, jittering beats. The track rises in an explosion of fun that will have you feeling infinite. The trumpet solo is enough to give you chills and if that’s not a connection, we don’t know what is. It’s safe to say we’ll be looking out for more signs from Namaste.
