Youtube covers are a dime-a-dozen. There are good ones and bad ones, sweet ones and cute ones, and then there is George Barnett. The talented Barnett surprised first with one of the funnest Daft Punk covers, along with my favorite rendition of Kendrick Lamar I've seen to date.

With talent in multiple instruments and a voice that could make any woman melt into a puddle, clearly this kid was prepared to make some serious waves in the music world.
He's back now with a recently released single titled "3 Statues." The track is a fun pop-influenced track that will be perfect for the summer days and nights creeping up ahead and highlights the same fun attitude that first brought Barnett into the limelight via Youtube. It's simple, fun, and with a fun groove, it's pretty impossible to not start tapping feet to the drums and thinking of the pool when this song comes on. Lyrically he dreams of a simpler time, longing for the seventies. It's the classic case of internet-overload, and it's safe to say most can relate to his wishes well.
