Hear the electronic soul of super-group OYT in "Now or Never" [Premiere]

My absolute favorite part of music right now is the trend of sticking three different artists from three different genres together to form super groups. We recently saw it with Sufjan Stevens, Serengeti, and Son Lux in Sisyphus, but today I'll introduce you to OYT. OYT is composed of the Estonian MC Busta, Sander Mölder, and DJ S.I.N. In addition, OYT's live show also adds Kaspar Kalluste into the mix, incorporating a live act from one of the drummer's for many of Estonia's biggest artists.

Emerald City is behind the magic on this one, and they know exactly what they're doing. OYT's premiere of "Now or Never" is a perfect stepping stone to for an emerging super-group. In a press release from Emerald, they state, "Those different backgrounds, experiences and perceptions of music merge together to create sounds that go through barriers of genres and styles. Whether it's hip-hop, house, RnB, dubstep, drum'n'bass or jazz, we label it as the electronic soul of OYT." I love this genre-less approach, as it usually serves as a wonderful way to break into new fan bases.

OYT's release of "Now or Never" is a funky array of sound out now via Emerald City, perfectly meshed together in what seems to be a cobweb of various styles. I'm excited for these Estonian's to reach a new level, seeing that their tactics are extremely "rad." This drop serves as the first single from the upcoming, 4-track EP Now Or Ever released on vinyl soon.
