Yeah Boy "Can't Get Enough" and neither can The Geek or the VrV

Yeah Boy is the side project of Parachute Youth's Johnny Castro, and he's gearing up to release his EP. He's released the remix of his title track, "Yeah Boy," and this remix is straight funky. In the year that's seeing artists like Mayer Hawthorne and Chromeo get attention, and lets not even begin to think about Daft Punk, this song is sure to get some attention for its great synths and catchy lines.

Maintaining a classy poppy edge to an other wise funk-based synth line, Yeah Boy is an artist that is definitely worth keeping an eye out for. The Geek and VrV go back and forth in this version and while I don't personally know too much about them, it might be time for me to delve into the interwebs for a little bit.

Check out the track below, and look out for the EP come May 5th. Pre-orders via iTunes can be found here.
