When you think of Scotland, hip hop probably isn't the most prominent genre of music you'd place there. Indeed, the more electronic based music has birthed some amazing talent out of the country, including the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Eclair Fifi and Jon Phonics.
Today however, I'm delighted to bring to you the exclusive premiere of the video from one of Scotland's freshest young producers Inkke, who has delivered a trippy visual that suits the track perfectly. The Jon Phonics directed video, features crazy lighting effects that make it feel like you've just drank a cup of lean and it's sent you on a crazy trip. This kinda vibe fits perfectly with the track, which has an almost cloud rap kinda feel about it, with deep, pounding kicks and crunchy snares combining to deliver a beat that's both brilliantly head nodding, yet hauntingly spaced out. Fellow Scot DePTHS steps onto the beat with great aplomb, and delivers a verse and flow that rides the beat perfectly.
