The British outfit known as Rudimental have continually represented the Black Butter Records family with their infectiously funky beats and their latest track "Powerless" follows suit. After a tremendous 2013—the quartet's debut album Home topped the UK Albums chart—the guys are looking to harness even more power as we lead into the 2014 festival season. Their latest release "Powerless," comes courtesy of the same album and features vocals from fellow Brit and former The Voice UK contestant, Becky Hill. Slowly letting Hill's strong vocals lead into a drum & bass driven beat, Rudimental supply listeners with another pulsating production with "Powerless".
Now the UK remix king, MK, aka Marc Kinchen is putting his touch on "Powerless" for a rework which is featured on the Powerless Remixes EP alongside renditions from Redlight and TIEKS. Following his return to the Essential Mix, after appearing on the infamous BBC Radio show back in 1995, MK delivers yet another rework that will drive the dance floors. With probably the best Essential Mix of 2014 thus far, MK seems to be back with full force, dropping grinding house remixes almost on a weekly basis. Known for his looped remixing style MK is moving crowds around the world, catch him currently on tour, with his next US stop in San Francisco, before heading down to Miami Music Week.
