Spoils came out of nowhere. Fusing together Sephari (Joseph Goddeeris) and Korz (Hunter Muldoon)'s experimental approach to ambient electronica, Spoils' "Three" exists in eerie darkness. Other than making explicit their identity and hometown, the mysterious duo have made opaque any other details known to Spoils.
The track, quietly released simultaneously with two other tracks titled "One" and "Two", blends spaciousness with R&B-infused beat music, climaxing 3:10 in. Reminding the listener of what we might associate with acts such as Pascaal or Samsaris, Spoils have quickly established themselves as truly enticing.
