This is your Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve. We will try to bring you one "chill" track every day. This is for when you get home and you are trying to unwind. You reach for that glass of wine or that unlit Black & Mild or maybe you reach for something more herbal. This track is for those times. We are just your milkmen and I'm here to make a delivery. Chill…

Today's delivery is brought to you by the japanese experimental electronic producer known Geskia. This producer spent much of the early 2000's creating hip-hop inspired beats in the underground Japanese scene. His sound soon adapted and transformed when the heavy trip-hop movement was hitting worldwide. This opened Geskia's sound up and it has consistently evolved from that point on. The track I'm bringing to you today is called "Were Saw" which comes from his 2008 album entitled Silent 77. Evolutionarily speaking, the track does a great job of combining a mixture of influences from trip-hop to IDM to ambient. This allows listeners to share in a short audible journey, similar to the path that Geskia's production styles traveled over the years. Check out the track and chill….

Like many, I started my musical education while engaged in playing classical music in school. What began as a simple adolescent activity, quickly transformed into a deep love and appreciation for all forms of music. This love would continue to grow and manifested itself into the form of becoming a Co-Founder of EARMILK. This online music publication has become my outlet to spread all genres of music to those impressionable people, much like me. And, much like you, i'm often literally waiting for the drop....
