The first track "Sunshine" immediately launches into a left>right panning drum roll that subsequently falls into a starry buildup towards a Jersey club drum rhythm. Rinsed with top-end crashes and stuttering rim hits, ALIZZZ pays homage to the genre's strong emphasis on specific samples like water droplets, bed creaks, and shotgun cocking—themes that consistently reappear throughout the EP. Listening closely, some might even draw similarities to the playing style of MicroKORG master Dorian Concept.

The beginning of "That Gurl" prompts strong ties to People Under The Stairs' "Acid Raindrops" with its summery stoop life progression and vinyl pops. The R&B vocals and hollow '77 Rhodes-style descending progressions in "What IF" strike semblances of TLC and 90s sitcom theme songs. The full nod to both R&B and funk can be heard in the soulful rhythmic anomaly "I C U", which features the vocals of newcomer Santell. The bold styles of Sunshine give it a distinct tonal flavor that ties it together while separating it from other works by similar artists. ALIZZZ's decision to add vinyl noise affords it an old school flavor that is lost through the popular audio formats of our generation.
